My pop has a few cassette tapes he wants to convert to a CD instead of lugging 4 cassettes around with him. Its not music. Kinda like continuous lectures, talks and prayers and such...you know, the godly stuff http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

How or what's the best/easiest way to go about doing this?

Its 4am in the morning, me too lazy to think http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

All input welcomed and thanked in advance,
Plucky (Tai)

The only way I could think of doing it is the slow way I am afraid. I have done it before. Rig a tape player up to the line in on your sound card, play the tape, have lots of free hard drive space. Then record it wav style, unless you have a real time mp3 converter (if they exsist) the put on to cd when finished. Try using a piece of software called Just Audio made by CeQuadrat. Its **** for making audio cd's but will do what you want.
