i wanna know if the converting fat32 to NTFS option in the WinXP install will "overwrite" files or corrupt thema t all or will files in the fat32 be usuable once the partion is converted?:rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure that's how XP is also... Sterling_Aug 09-24-2001, 10:13 PM Once you convert to NTFS, you can not go back to FAT/FAT32 unless you use a utility such as Partition Magic.
