Sdram, What mobo is it?
That’s what I was thinking when I read it. Wouldn’t you want DDR ram to get the full potential out of the chip? Not trying to thread **** as I think it is a pretty nice little system. But just a thought to throw out to you all

I think is that new mobo from VIA. I am almost positive that they are the once that produce them. Look at tomshardware for the tests with the SDRAM systems.

Does anybody know the WinME is an OEM version or just a recoverablle CD?

If its SD-RAM, then it is using Intel's i845 chipset. No offense, but a P3 or Athlon 1 GHz with DDR will usually surpass a P4 1.5 GHz w/ SD-RAM for floating-point processing. The P4 retains a large portion of its performance through effective bandwidth usage, and this requires either RAMBUS or DDR. Light desktop integer apps (word prcessing, web surfing, etc.) are usually within 10-15% of a P4 w/ RAMBUS.
Regardless, the system is still a good buy for $539, especially with the Palm m100 included.
Odds are the WinME install is a recover CD, as this is how most OEM's ship the OS these days.
