If I could get a little more information I might be able to help. First can you see what kind of BIOS you have (e.g. Award, Phoenix, or other). Next see if you can hear a pattern. Is it 2 short, then 8 contiuous beeps or 2 groups of 4 beeps or maybe something else? And are the beeps long or short?

the only problems ive had with beeps are when video card it fried, or not plugged in all the way, while its simple and you've prolly already checked it, just offering help.

are you sure it's doing all that beeping? (is that just one cycle or could it be repeating ?) could your ram just be bad? do you have something else you could put in (ram)?

Ok, I got the AMI BIOS beep codes for you. The problems is it doesn't specify short or long beeps, just the number of beeps. Anyways here is the beep code table from my A+ Certification Troubleshooting Guide and what they say to try doing:

1 beep = Refresh failure - Reseat or Replace memroy module

2 beeps = Parity error - Try same as 1 beep

3 beeps = Base 64k memory failure - Try same as 1 beep

4 beeps = Timer not operational - System board must be sent in for repair

5 beeps = Processor error - Same as for 4 beeps

6 beeps = 8042 gate A20 failure - Replace keyboard, Reseat or Replace keyboard controller chip

7 beeps = Processor exception interrupt error - Same as for 4 beeps

8 beeps = Display memory read/write failure - Replace video card or memory on video card

9 beeps = ROM checksum error - Replace BIOS chip

10 beeps = CMOS shutdown register read/write error - Same as for 4 beeps

11 beeps = Cache memory bad - Reseat or Replace cache memory

I dont know how to distinguish what you have going on compared to what the problem is but at least you can use this in future use. Hope this helps you.
