Hello there,

Well it's happened for the second time so it is now a problem.
this rig has crashed twice to a blue screen. With a few lines of stuff. The memory seems to be being cashed to disk then the machine quickly flashed up something about contacting vender then reboots.:(

It all happens quite fast and was not able to jot down much before reboot
something like IRQL_NOL_LOSS and something aabout NDIS.SYS i think. Will leave a pen and paper beside the machine in future.

I have been running this machine constantly for the last week and have had no problems alright both times I have been stretching the multi-tasking capabilities a little but still think this is a problem.

Abit KT7-Raid
Geforce2MX
256 PC133 CAS2 Crucial
Duron 700@700
Win2K sp 2

any help would be greatly appreciated.

IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and NDIS point to a resource conflict regarding networking.

Was a new modem installed recently? My guess is there's a resource conflict involving your modem and dial up networking or your NIC and networking.

Win2k's BSOD's are known as Stop Errors, check the microsoft knowledge base on these, you will be supprised at how much information you will find

No I have had the NIC installed since late june early july when I got my cable modem. Not installed anything new since then. All I have done recently is spend a lot of time with a few P2P running at the same time. Perhaps not the best thing to be doing but it works most of the time.

Vert Will check out the knowledge base tomorrow snowed under with work at the moment.
