Good FTP software?

i was wondering what was some good FTP programs?? I heard one that is called cute FTP how is that?

I use WS_FTP and it seems to be very user friendly. I think most people can use it with ease.

CuteFTP is excellent. The only problem recently with them is the fact that they are now putting banners and tons of non-essential GUI **** in it. Even on the registered versions of Cuteftp, you still have to manually turn the banners off in your options. I still recommend either Cuteftp or AbsoluteFtp.

Go with something like WS or BulletProof FTP software. They both are great. WS is avaliable for FREE in the "lite" version when used for personal at home usage.

Personally I would stay away from Cuteftp as it is a known "spyware" software http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

well, personally, i like WS_FTP. just get the lite version, as it's free. you can create many different "accounts" to log into through FTP. It's got a very simple interface, yet has many advanced features right there.

YEP...thats why I use IE for my ftp browsing.
I also use MS for FTP server. ( Because it comes with the OS )

I use both OptOut (linked above in Algee's post) and Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoft.de) for the spyware dilemma.
