I am trying to save for local viewing a infomercial. Real player has no save option and the file I save with the browser is only a pointer (i.e, once loaded to real player it starts downloading the true file).

Is there a utility to save the streaming video?

Thanks.

I think thats the whole reason for using "real" anything, you can't save it.

In certain cases, you can save REAL MEDIA... Play the video as you would normally would and go to the Internet Temporary Files folder and see if the real video file is in there... If the file exists, just copy the file to a different folder...
