Also just thought id ask, but why is it that everytime windows 2000 begins to boot my computer suddenly freezes? I've noticed its just my video thats causing the freeze so im trying to figure out exactly what the problem here is.

The freeze you are referring to is not permanant, right? It's about 30seconds to a minute and happens soon after you boot into the window desktop. If that is what you're talking about, I've seen that happen on some of the systems we have at work.

I think it's because the Windows Services haven't completely started yet. I've tried defragging the disk, MFT, Pagefile, registery file, and I noticed that it didn't stop Window from freezing temporarly. But turning off a few services that weren't needed helped a little. Try turning off some of the services that you won't be needing.
