Well, just in case you wanted to know, I got it working. I made the novice mistake of not checking for an updated NT driver, and sure enough, I downloaded the new driver/setup utility and everything's great. Thanks anyway!

Well, last night and today, I got the task of setting up WinNT 4.0 on my system. I've gotten all of the hardware to work right except for the modem. I have a Diamond SupraMAX PCI modem. First, I tried using COM1 and COM2 for the modem figuring they wouldn't work, and I was right. I then created a COM3 port, making sure it had a unique IRQ and Address. I set up the modem and the dial-up account to go to COM3, but no dice!!! Can someone please help me out? I really need to get my modem working, for obvious reasons!!!

disable serial port 2 in the bios. and install your modem on irq 3
