There was a posting below regarding cd length and overburning(adding more tracks). Which raised the question in my mind: are there any physical differences between the two length cd media types. Is there something that tells the software how much it can burn or is there not much difference between the two?
Curious minds want to know!

Yes, there are physical differences in the 74min (650mb) and 80min (700mb) CDR medias.
The track density on 80min media is higher.
It's too bad they don't make 700mb CDRW medias. Has anyone come across one of those?
