Okay, i screwed up win2k with some bad cd burning software, then i tried to put a service pack on which was also stupid, so now i only get a blue screen that says, process1_error and a bunch of zeros.

I don't have a floppy drive (actually, i have two old ones that light up all the time and wont read anything, any ideas). I am trying to figure out how to make a cd that is bootable? i tried burning the 4 floppies onto a cd but that didnt' work, even after changing the bios to boot from cd, it always says failure.

I am in ntfs. i would like to get some info off the hd but its not necessary. i just want to be able to boot so i can reformat and put on fat32 so i can run win98 and/or win2000 at the same time.

anyone have any helpful ideas? i have access to a burner, and win nt, and the internet, but not at my house where my computer is.

please help...

Use a Win98 startup disk for the boot image source.

Modify autoexec.bat and config.sys to suit your needs first, but do not remove the ramdrive lines from either, or the disk will not function properly after booting.

Also, I can only make bootable disks with EasyCD Creator 3.5, 4.0 will not work, so use of W2K to do it is not possible, that I know of.
