burner install help needed

tore cover off of machine and found out i have nowhere to plug in cdrw. i have 2 hd`s hooked up with one cable with 2 connectors on it,tho cable that came with burner has no extra connecter on the cable(either from the existing cdrom or the new cable outa the box.) can i just go down to puter store and pickup another cable like the one connecting the 2 hd`s??or am i SOL?:confused:

Assuming the only thing you have connected to your secondary IDE channel is your current CD-ROM, YES, you can get another IDE cable with 2 connectors. Don't forget to configure the jumpers so that one device is the master and the other the slave...
