I forgot that my hdd had been compressed and it has EZ Drive on it. I went and formatted it. Now I can't reinstall windows. Can someone tell me what to do.

You can download it from the mfg. of your drive. Boot to this disk and shuffle thru the options til you find uninstall EZ Bios! Then you will need to fdisk and format before installing an OS ! SPEEDO shahani 09-21-2001, 05:42 PM Correct. But when you fdisk, use the /mbr switch: fdisk /mbr. This is because some remanants of ez drive overlay are not uninstalled and can cause partition table problems later on. So its just better to re-write the mbr with the original generic version.
