Years ago I bought a Ricoh RS-1420C CDR which came with an Adaptec AVA-1505 card and EZ-SCSI Lite which worked ok. I recently acquired a couple of SCSI hard disks Seagate ST31200N and ST34572N which I installed on the internal cable for the 1505. Again all worked (eventually).
I then tried to transfer the setup to a faster machine but the were conflicts with the sound card. Now I cannot restore the system to the original machine - Win98SE won't install the driver properly - lists it question-marked. The EZ-SCSI setup program claims there is insufficient memory or disk space and won't run (128MB RAM and 100's of MB disk space) even from a hard drive directory.
Thoughts?
