Hi,
I've got an old(ish) p233mmx ajp 7200 laptop with 32 meg of EDO ram. I phoned ajp to find out the cost of adding another 64 meg and I was quoted 250 (english) pounds. Ouch! A cheaper option would seem to be a pcmcia memory card - unfortunately I'm very ignorant on these, and havent found much useful information on the net. So here are the questions:
Are there pcmcia memory cards available that add directly to system memory?
If so, are they a good alternative to ram chips, speedwise, etc?
If so, can anyone recommend anything appropriate?
Any help at all is very much appreciated.
Thanks.
Richard.
