Are you talking about the mouse pointer, or the active cell? Also, what version of Excel are you using? Either way, I couldn't find a way to change the color of the mouse pointer or the active cell highlight in Excel 97. What are you trying to do with this? If you are just trying to make it more visible, there are ways to do this without changing the color. To make the mouse pointer more visible, you can turn on "pointer trails." Double-click Mouse in the Contol Panel, select the Motion tab and check the "Show pointer trails" checkbox. To make the active cell more visible, you can change the color of the gridlines. In Excel, choose Tools => Options and click on the View tab. In the Color box below the gridlines checkbox, select a gridline color that contrasts with the highlight box. Hopefully something here will help. Please post back so I know if I was close to understanding what you wanted. Steve SysOpt.com
