For all those KVM fans out there, here is a site that did a small 4 port KVM roundup. They had 4 'contestants'.

Enjoy

Thanks, Dave!! :) I've been thinking of getting a KVM switch for a while, but was unsure what I should be looking for. That was very helpful and easy to follow as well.

I have a Belkin omni-viewSE 4 port that I use that I like pretty well. It has a neat feature in that you can use the scroll lock key on the keyboard to switch inputs so you can use a wireless keyboard and not have to be at arms length to change computers. I even got it from my local shop for cheaper than Fry's!
The owner went to Belkin's site and they had it listed for over 200 bucks, and he calls his supplier and sold it to me for 169.
I was walking around Fry's after I bought it and saw the same switch there for 175. hee hee... hooray for the little guy!

Hmmmm...I just might have to check out that IOGear switch a bit more closely.

The IOGear looks good and the bundled cables are nice. Great article as I am in the market for one right now. I have a two port Hawking Technology one at work and it has the same layout as the first box reviewed. Cables on all sides. It looks messy and does not sit well on the desktop.

I use a Linksys 2 port model at home and love it. I keep the unit behind my pc and never look at it. I switch between PC's using the Hot Keys (keyboard). These hot keys are an important feature to me.
