Program files not in alphabetical order

when I click start... program files... my items are not in alphabetical order. How can I fix this problem? I have looked in my computer, program files and they are all in order. I think there is a reg edit but I don't know it. Thanks.. Dom

Go start-programs files, right click and sort by name.

Anyway, an alternative method and time consuming, I may add. You can right click and drag your Start menu items to where you want them. This allows for customization greater than ordering.
