I've just assembled a system based on this motherboard. I have installed a conventional CD-ROM as well as a CD-RW. I get no sound from whichever of the 2 devices is plugged in to the “Auxiliary Line In” audio connector socket on the motherboard. I do get sound from the device (either of them) if it plugged into the primary socket, which the Intel Product Guide for this board identifies as the “ATAPI-Style CD-ROM” audio connector. Should I be able to utilize both connectors? Any thoughts on why I cannot get both devices to work, utilizing both connectors? Thanks in advance.
