That quite a Bit Of System Resouces eh?
Maybe AOL IM does a whole Lot More than Istant Message.
Like
record all Punched Keys
Send Valueble Information to AOL
Or Do Some Strange Unknown Things to your computer.
NOTE: IE explore is running In the background when both of these were taken.
What do you think?

It's a conspiracy! They are all lieing! They all have the same problem but are too afraid to admit it for fear that Case will destory them! Fight the good fight! Do something for The Cause! Serve your country! Uninstall AOL!
There is hope for you yet, voogru.

The question is, how often are you forced to reboot your computer because of AIM? And how often w/o it? It's probably negligible.

AIM is a fine product.... Don't knock it just because you can't get it to work on your system. Maybe you should continue to try to figure out the underlying cause of your problem.
I'm running several IE 5.5 windows, AIM, ICQ, AVP, Direct CD, and Winamp right now, while letting another computer run Quake 2 from my hard drive, and my resources are still well above 60%. In fact, your computer eclipses mine specs wise (PII 300, 64 meg ram) so you shouldn't have a problem. I am curious as to why your System Properties shows 63 MB of ram though. How does that work?

A lot of norton stuff running ain't good either. Just use it when you need it and dont let it load on bootup.

Yeah, the i810 chipset has onboard wimpy graphics with shared architecture memory up to 11MB of the system. Even though it's a celeron, the chipset hampers system performance. BTW, how much of the 10GB harddrive do you have free?
