what have i done???

i was messing around with the multipliers to overclock my cpu. when i turned the compter on it started beeping so i turned it off. after reseting the jumpers, i turned the puter back on and nothing!!!blank screen.
i though maybe somehow my bios was changed from agp vga to pci vga, so i took out my agp card and put in a pci card. no luck at all..so i thought maybe it's the cpu, so i took out my mainboard(5mvp3) and replaced it with my old one(m598lmr...it sucks) and alas everything works.is my 5mvp3 toast, or did something in the bios just get changed? i am thinking that if i reformat and do a win98 install, then change mainboards again maybe the bios will be set back to default??
help fast please. this board has no agp slot!!

Happened to me once, pulled the powerbar out of the wall and I guess everything reset themselves.Was Okay after that, Hope it works for you. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

It not only belongs in Tech Support, it does not belong in 4 different forums.

Please, don't spam the board again, post ONCE only in the most appropriate forum. Mutliples won't help you any faster or better, just will get ppl confused and annoyed. Thanks.
