I am looking at getting this video card, but I think it is the older model of the VE. I know the one I saw at best buy had a different packaging and this card looks like it has a sort of daughter board.
This says it doesn't have the DVI...why would I need that? I am really wanting to go with dual monitors as I am thinking of buying a 15" LCD fo rmy system.
Thanks
Paul

I think if you are opting for an LCD displays then I hate to say that you should be looking at such DVI supportable gfx cards as it's define as Digital Video Inteface and hence most present days LCD screen support only such interface; DVI and especially since you are already looking forward to owning such screen, and best pay more attention to those gfx cards that can support Dual DVI and as I don't have much info regarding these except that I do believed that market provides normal D-15pins to DVI connectors... & vice versa....

I don't know if you can go from the 15pin SVGA connection to DVI with just an adapter because you're switching from analog to digital, or viceversa. I believe the LCD monitors that support both analog and digital connections have separate input lines for each interface. And if quality is what you're after, go digital. From what I understand, you lose a lot of crispness and detail on an LCD with an analog connection.
