Hello-

I use Outlook 2000 for appointments, To Do, tasks, stuff like that. I use Outlook Express 5.5 for my e-mail (Because it's faster and simpler than Outlook 2000). Is there a way I can synchronize the mail portion of Outlook 2000 with Express? That way I could do e-mail stuff via Outlook (like when I'm putting in appointments, etc.) and use Express when I only want to check/send an email.

Thanks

Ruahrc

That is a terrific idea. I don't know if it is possible, but if both programs pointed to the same inbox file (for example) then the inbox folder should be shared. I would be reluctant to open both programs at the same time though.

I'm going to try this and post back later.

So far, no luck. I can move messages back and forth using the import feature, but I have no idea how to sync them. Outlook Express uses .dbx files for the folders, but Outlook 2000 must use something else. I will post back if I have an epiphany.
