I'm really getting sick of Intel and how they operate like some bratty little kid tryin to rule the play ground. First RAMBUS trys to sue Crucial and Infineon (concindentally when RDRAM turned out to be a bust) and now this... The way Intel is conducting business should be enough for anyone to stop buying their products.

Besides the way Intel conducts itself, the deciding factor for me is when an Athlon 1400 is as fast/faster than the new P4 2 ghz. YEEHAW! Good thing "Intel" still has it's name, otherwise no one would be buying them.

Well It's important to remember that Intel has been the big kid on the block for so long they don't like to see upstarts like AMD take something like the x86 instructions and go above and beyond what they ever thought possible. It's kinda like that kid in grade school that brought his Gameboyİ to school and showed everybody his score on Tetris and was happy to pass it around and watch everyone fail at beating it, until one day you beat it then he wouldnt let you play with his Gameboyİ anymore :( . The fact is Intel is getting scared and they are taking any desperate stab at the competition to try and regain the ground that they are losing everyday to those companies that are more concerned with putting out a good product rather than nifty commercials with little blue men and trendy techno tracks.
