It's a shame how such a fine chip maker appears to be slipping, kind of reminds me of Netscape and Micro(rip)Soft, they (Intel)
have all the marketing money and pull and meanwhile AMD, who are very good at what they do, is thrown to the dog's. Let's hope that AMD will overcome and even surpass this slump. If it wasn't for AMD's competion we would of not of had these affordable and even faster chips that we see now.
I hope not to see AMD slip gently into the night.....

Now is a great time to buy - the stock will probably be back up to $30 within 6 monsth if the market pattern hold up.

Despite the stocks slippage processor sales are up, flash memory sales are really down. Despite this I am with them for the long haul and plan on acquiring additional stock while its down.

I've watched this stock for 6 years. It typically follows a boom and bust pattern. In fact, if you bought this stock when it first was issued you wouldn't have made any money at all. http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/charts/charting.asp?Symbol=AMD&tools=standard&target=%2Finvestor%2Fcharts%2Fcharting%2Easp%3FSym bol%3DAMD

It's a trading stock.
