Kind of misleading since it was my understanding that they have been working on the movie for 3 or 4 years. Let's be generous and just say 3...3 years ago Nvidia was just a punk video card maker that thought they could dethrone 3dfx by integrating 2d and 3d graphics. Most people just laughed at them. TnT hahaha. At any rate my point is that with all the advances in 3d rendering I'm assuming that even high end work stations were dealing with cards not much more powerful than a tnt or tnt2, and probably running with more or less the cpu power and memory of todays nearly top of the line pc. I guess it'd be like saying that todays Volvo Sportswaggon can outrun a 1983 cammaro z28. It's true, but it's a pretty unfair comparison.
