Years after everybody, I'm just starting to watch the series.

It's a shame really. The show really regained some steam and started heading in a very positive direction this past season after the last couple of subpar seasons.

Now if I could just convince someone that a Ghostbusters TV series is a good idea.

Hopefully just a scam like Mulder when he pitched a hissy fit for MORE money..

What has a Mulder uh I mean David made recently????
Just a bunch of **** movies!
I hope Mrs. Anderson makes some good work after (if) if she leaves.
They are prolly fat with money so they don't really care and have many options open to them.
But artistically without the x-files and the proper agent (heh) it will be tough to stay in the maintream of good quailty and "star" exposure.
I hope she chooses the right movies to work in, if she does choose to when she leaves.

that's REAL bad.... it's gonna be a bad time for X files if she too leaves.

Ever since Mulder was abducted by aliens and the co-agent with Scully became another guy.... i've lost half my interest in the show.

If she too leaves.... a much larger portion of the viewers will be unhappy.... very unhappy

Without David Duchovny the show really did fall apart. I think he was right for asking for more money, because he made the show what it was..
(How are you trying to say, if your doing all that good work and not getting paid enough - YOU wouldn't ask for MORE money??)

Now that Gillian Anderson is leaving, the show is in DEEPER trouble.

Richard_Cranium72:
Not too shoot down your ideas or anything, but when Duchovny left, he was going to leave for good until Fox offered him a minor contract just to see if they could later working something permanent out.

Where were you?! Just NOW starting to watch the show. http://www.sysopt.com/news/gws/cdata/wink.gif Yes, i'd agree - You have terrible timing.

TV actors/actresses all think that they are going to start new movie careers when they leave. This mostly doesn't happen. Remember the guy who played 'Bobby' on 'Dallas'? He left the show thinking he could take his pick of roles and nobody heard of him after that.

As for quiting to "She wants to spend more time with her daughter and also wants to broaden her experieince on the stage in London." The London stage takes as much time as TV and she won't be spending any more time with the kid.

That will suck if she does. This past season seemed like the next one would be great. Not sure what will happen next season with Doggett but I hope he sticks around. I like him and the developing of a believer like used to be with Scully.
