Intell needs the competition! Their products have been less then steller as of late. And I was really hopeing to have Intell wake up, and start fighting (by making better products) when AMD came steaming down on it. Instead they're doing the old deer rutine "wow is that a car! I've never seen one this close." It's sad. I did really like Intell. They could have really made a good stand against AMD. But now... I don't know. Wonder whats going to happend to Intell? Doubt they're going any were soon. But they better start fighting, instead of making excuses.

Any way. I'm glad AMD is doing so well to! Infact I'm going AMD in my next PC.

I haven't followed VIA too closely, but if Crush is stable and do what is suggested...
mmm mmm mmm.... intel's gonna get a spanking.

unless cost is truely high, the fact remains.

So why is the 815 with integrated video so bad? It's only $10 more than the no-vid version of the board, and can be uselful for a second display if using an AGP card as primary. If using this board in a server, it's all the video you need.

Remember the bad ole days before competition when Intel and IBM were the only game in town and a PC was $5,000?
