Maybe they can give Nvidia a little competition. I hope this works out and we see a card come to market. I was looking forward to the Rampage technology.

Between this new company and the KYRO II cards that just came out, I'd say nVidia is dead wrong in thinking that they own the market. In fact, I was a little worried that without any competition, the video card market was going to start sucking majorly (Example: Microsoft Windows!).
Competition is always great for quality and prices!

I'd really be glad, but ... nVIDIA owns everything 3Dfx ever worked on, including Rampage technology, so I guess it's nothing but rumour http://www.sysopt.com/news/gws/cdata/frown.gif
Still, I'd love to see 3Dfx in any of it's reincarnations kicks nVIDIA **** http://www.sysopt.com/news/gws/cdata/wink.gif

It would be great to see some new cards come to market-- I enjoyed the 3Dfx line although I had more trouble with that chipset than any other. My GeForce cards have never given me any problems (256 and GTS). I love the unified driver approach. But of course competition is what makes things better (and less expensive) so I say bring em on!
