I'm having some wierd problems. I have 2 sticks of 128M PC133 ram from Step-Thermodynamics. When I use both the Demo for Delta Force 3: Land Warrior will not run. It dumps to the desktop as soon as it tries to actually run the mission. Grand Prix Legends also will dump to the desktop as soon as, or shortly after, going in car. If I take out one stick both work great. Doesn't seem to matter which stick I take out. Haven't found other software that it's a problem with but I haven't tested them all yet either.
Specs:
Asus P3V4X
P3/550e @ 733 Step-Thermodynamics Ultra cooling setup. heat sinks front & back & 2 fans on front 1 on back.
Hercules Guillemot GeForce DDR
Aureal Vortex2
2 X 128M PC133 ECC RAM (ECC turned off in BIOS)
3Com Network card.
I have the cover panels off & more than enough fans. I had to get the memory that I originally purchased from Step replaced as it was reading as PC100 not PC133 as it should've. These sticks are a bit taller than those. MBM reads from 97 to 117F on the core temp. Seems a reasonable temp to me. I'm wondering what could be the deal with the memory that could be causing this?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
