I need a string to silence the speaker on my modem. The modem volume control has no effect. I know it can be done though, because when I was using netzero the modem was silent. It is a US robotics PCI voice modem.

Psycho-holic Slag 08-28-2000, 09:50 PM close. my records show an extra setting of: M0 = speaker off M1 = speaker on until connect L1 = speaker volume low (L2= med, L3 = high) these are generic... should work on any modem, but not necessarily.
