Hey all

Have been having trouble having Win 95 load the mouse properly. Have tried removing and reloading it on the system inumerable times.

Now the last I have done is loaded up the mouse with Interrupt 12. I am thnking that this is the highest interrupt available...cause the mouse gets priority 1. Now do correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks all

12 is probably too high for the mouse.
Try disabling a couple of unused ports in your bios, this will free up a number or two for you.
3-4-5 are good numbers for your mouse.

Whenever I do an hardware indentification thorugh WIn95 and specify Microsoft PS2 mouse it gives me Interrupt 12 by default..I guess this might be cause other interrupts are used up...

Int 12 is the default interrupt for PS2 rodents in Windoz. Is your PS2 port enabled in the BIOS? If your rodent won't work as PS2, have you tried it on a serial (Com)port? (The cable would need an adapter).
