Szech 08-30-2000, 01:46 PM I just saw this on AMD's website in reference to a power supply. qball 08-30-2000, 02:10 PM Ultra ATX???? jbob 08-30-2000, 02:44 PM I believe it's micro ATX. Szech 08-30-2000, 02:48 PM So would it provide less power? Or just be a smaller package? howste 08-30-2000, 03:39 PM Hey Szech, do you have a link where you saw it? Steve Szech 08-30-2000, 08:33 PM Psh! Oh yeah! http://www1.amd.com/duron/mbl It's under the pull menu "Form Factor" howste 08-31-2000, 12:07 AM That link is for motherboards, not power supplies. I'm sure the uATX is referring to micro ATX motherboards. I found a similar page for power supplies: http://www1.amd.com/duron/power. It lists ATX, SFX, and PS3 as the form factors available. Steve AuraEdge 08-31-2000, 08:16 AM u is actually the greek letter mu, which is the greek M. It stands for micro- almost any prefix. It refers to Motherboards and cases. uATX boards can fit in either ATX cases or uATX cases. uATX cases can only hold uATX boards. uATX boards usually dont have more than 4 expansion slots, althought the Power supplies for both are identical howste 08-31-2000, 08:38 AM Yep, it's really µ not u. Szech 08-31-2000, 02:26 PM OH... okay... thanks! I have to wonder why they couldn't just say mATX. Stupid greek letters! SysOpt.com
