What about FAT32 Conversion

I'm in process now of converting my HP.

It's a 366 AMD @75FSB, 2.1 WD, 28pc66 RAM

It has hung on the first DOS screen at the point where the Soundblaster pro is detected.

My CPU gets hot but no activity light from the HD.

Is it locked up or does this conv just stay on one screen, I've done it a few years back but those neurons are long since gone dark.

I'm sure you would have to have HD activity for it to be working. Sounds like you're hung alright.

This thing stopped for about 4 hrs last night. and 2 or so today.

It hangs on the first screen, as I remember the dos screens fly by during the 16-32 conversion process but I'm not too sure.

Any workarounds out there, with this small drive I can use FAT32..
