what motherboard to choice (asus or abit)?

i have choiced intel 815e chipset. now i have to choice between ASUS CUSL2 or ABIT SE6.

Both have very similar parameters.
Awaititing oppinions or experience with this mobos.

p.s. one more question. i815e chipset has 10/100 integrated LAN, how could i use it? there is no rj45 output on mobos.

Both are good boards. However, I personally like ABIT motherboards more.

I have never gone wrong with Asus, but I have also heard alot of good things about Abit. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Check prices and value for the buck. Let that help you to decide.

Of the 2, I've only used Abit and am extremely satisfied. I think the previous post however may be the best advice.

I don't think you can go wrong with either manufacturer. I've only built two computers so far - one Asus & one Abit. No complaints about either one. I did find that the Asus system monitoring software is far better than what Abit offers, but that's kind of a minor issue.

As far as your other question - I don't believe either of those boards comes with onboard LAN. Seems like I've seen a board somewhere with onboard LAN, but can't remember where. It had an oddball back plate that came with the board, because the standard ones wouldn't fit around the 10/100 jack.
