G Mntsnow 08-28-2000, 11:06 AM Rodan, If you are able to find out exactly what model of motherboard you have and can find a "generic" bios for it from the manufacturer then you can reflash the bios and get rid of the E logo. Other than that you have to find a compiler program that works with bios' and rewrite the bios code http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif rodan 08-30-2000, 02:19 PM Thanks for the tip........I heard that some proprietary computers( Dell, Gateway, Emachine, Packard Bell, HP, etc...)put their logo inside the source code of the bios, and, unless you can get in there, you can't change it.
