Highpoint 370 Raid card - Expansion rom not initialized

I just installed a highpoint 370 raid card, now my computer makes beeping errors right after loading my scsi card bios and comes up with the error message:

Expansion Rom not initialized - PCI Mass Storage in Slot 2 BUS:00 Device:OE Function:00

I never get to the raid cards bios screen, and it will just load to windows after i continue from that error message. Taking out the raid card, the computer boots normally. Switching the pci slot just gives me the same message but just a different slot error in the message.

It appears that your system is having problems initializing the BIOS on that card. Can you put the card in another system and see if you get the same errors?
