Ok...Another prob with Fastrack conversion.

I have Ultra66 card rev A6 that will not for the life of me take the bios flash.

I have tried different versions of the flash utility as well as different version of the flash file.

I also have the Ultra66 A6 modded to FT66. I would like to help, but you need to supply a few details. Please list the steps you've taken in order. You should use PTIFlash ver1.04 only (it comes with bios 1.08). Oh, and please describe exactly what happens when the Ultra66 "won't take a flash".


**Edit: I just tried, and failed, to find PTIFlash ver1.04 on the Promise web site. It is available here:

I'll have to hook it up again and see the errors, it wa last weekend when I messed with it.

With 1.04 flash I think it said unsupported hardware no matter which flash binary file I tried. With the latest version flash/bios it says file not found (if I use the 1.08 bin ) and it just hangs if I use the latest bin.

I really think it is yet a newer mod since it's fresh from Promise.
