I have been using the VOS32 to cool my overclocked Athlon 600 to 800MHz. The VOS32 takes up 1 of my memory slots and touches a memory stick on the center (3 slots available) I had 2 128meg PC100 strips in. I recently replaced the 2 strips with a PC133 128meg strip (No more contact).
In BIOS I set the SDRAM config to 145 MHz. I score about 60 points higher on 3DMark2000.
My question is : Is the SDRAM config done correctly? It gave me 4 choices. User difene, 125MHz, 145MHz, and one other. Do I need to set anything with the PC133?
I have never used PC133 before, so I did not know. It isnn't smoking yet, and I am scoring higher with the 128 strip than the 256 of the PC100.
Will I be more likely to reach higher FSB o/c freq. with the PC133 also?
System Specs
Athlon 600 (650 core) at 800MHz 1.75v 2/5 Cache div
Asus K7V with 1006BIOS
128meg PC133 Micron memory stick
GeForce2 GTS 32Meg running Detonator3 drivers
