Power supplies - Athlon and poentium

I'm getting ready to buy a case and I saw that on the case I want it said that the power supply was Athlon certified. Does this mean that I cannot use it with my pentium system?

I just noticed that I spelled pentium wrong in the subject.

Athlons are power hungry and AMD has set up a list of power supplys that they recommend and put them on an "approved" list, it may be a sign that your p/s is of alittle higher quality and will work fine with your Pentium system...
