Nutcase 06-18-1999, 01:12 AM Well heres another question that I had... what company makes good mice and keyboards.. again I really dont want to spend to much on these either. Maybe lik 50-75 well thank you JROBERTS 06-18-1999, 03:32 AM I really like Logitech mice and keyboards. You might be able to find the cordless Logitech keyboard and mouse within your price range. Susan 06-18-1999, 11:29 AM I'm not that picky when it comes to keyboards, but with mice my choice is definitely Logitech scroll mice. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif MrEd 06-18-1999, 11:33 AM I've got a Logitech Trackman Marble Plus. After you get used to not moving your hand all over the place, it's pretty nice. cobain1crt 06-18-1999, 03:50 PM Radio Shak and EB have mice with 2 wheels on them, perfect for quake 2, quake 3, and every other modern 3D shooter. It also has a ton of cool features, I bought one for my dad for fathers day, and have a standard wheel mouse for myself. As for keyboard: usualy OEM keyboards are best, I have seen realy nice Compaq and Dell keyboards for only like $10, their retail counterparts are $30 minimum. Nutcase 06-18-1999, 04:26 PM Ummm.. Thanks for the help but where should I get the mice and keyboards from? Ok well thank you again. And Mr. Ed arnt those mice expensive? And are they worth the cash? My moms starting to get pissed at me now cause I am spending so much cash on this computer Bazango 06-18-1999, 06:11 PM You are right not to want to spend any money on a keyboard. Try www.shopper.com once you get a list of the type of item you want, you click on the field heading to sort by that field. Click the "price" field heading to sort by price. Try not to spend more than $15 on a keyboard. They are all about the same. It's odd, but the mice are usually more than the keyboard, but try not to spend more than $15 on a mouse either. Also try www.classifieds2000.com for used stuff. You can get a used mouse and keyboard for $5 or $6 or even less. Save your bucks for the extras. Video boards, input devices, etc. MrEd 06-18-1999, 06:48 PM They'll run you about 70-80 bucks. Nutcase 06-18-1999, 07:38 PM I just found out that I do have a keyboard so I am not going to need that. But I do need a mouse. Are the Logitech mice better or Microsoft? I am going to need a mouse with a scroll thingi on it... Well thanks for the help :-) socalgal 06-18-1999, 09:13 PM I just love my new Logitech Trackman Marble+. I tried different mice at the Fry's display and it's the one I liked best. $55 at the puter show (otd), and $60 (without tax included) at Fry's. I would suggest that if you have a store in your area with different mice (and keyboards if you are still interested) out for display, you test drive them. That way you can find the best fit for you.
