Well...uninstall the programs, use a registry cleanout program and defrag your hard drive. I can't help you with the reg prog because I have no experience with that. I'm sure someone else can, though. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Delete all files on HD and reinstall Winders. Wait, you may need to reformat and then reinstall winders.

Trying the uninstall, regclean, defrag, will still leave a lot of undesirable **** on you HD. Plus that may leave a lot of content the uninstall will know nothing about.

hello,

First thing i suggest you reinstall windows like qball said to do this make sure you have all you video drivers sound drivers modem drivers and your windows 98 Cd and boot disk.

Then backup all your critical files.
Then your gonna want to go into dos

type in one of the following:

FORMAT C: Normal Format
FORMAT C:/q Quick Format

after the format turn off your pc stick in you boot disk and win98 disk and after it loads the disk select start Win98 setup from cd.

Do the setup
Then once in windows again install all your drivers and all you programs that you need.

good luck
email me if you need anymore help.

Thanks alot for your help peeps,

I went ahead and formatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows. I just thought there might be a way to delete everything from my HD without reinstalling windows. It takes so long to do that. Guess i'm becoming impatient in my old age.
well, like i said, thanks for your help.
