We, as a nation, have just had our wind knocked out by the recent attack. I am, as many others are, completely and utterly enraged at the actions of people against our nation.

Admittedly, I have written twice as much as I have actually posted on the forums recently. Several posts here have gotten my goat, so to speak, and I began to reply, only to delete them instead of posting them when I reread and saw the unprofessionalism in them. I ask that you do the same. Please remain the professional, kind and helpful people that I know you to be. There are 21000 of the best people in the world here in this forum. Let's keep it growing and let Sysopt reap the benefits of Scott's recent and not-so-recent hard work.

Soon we will be past this horrible event and we can begin to rebuild. Don't say things that you cannot take back or hurt others and your own reputation with words of hate. We all have one common enemy.

God bless
Dave

Well said, Dave.

I will add that the rules and policies that keep the these forums some of the best on our precarious planet will be enforced, as always.

I know emotions are running high, and deservedly so, but keep your posts well-thought out and attack the subject, not one another. It won't be tolerated.

If anyone has a problem with another, sort it out via email and keep it off the forums. Do NOT start attacking another in these forums! If and when seen, it will be stopped, your post/s may be edited and / or deleted and if needed, sterner measures will be taken.

If anyone sees a problem, please email the mods with a link to it.

Thanks for your help and support. We're in this together. Let's help one another; enough damage has been done already.

Our esteemed acting governor has asked all of us here in Massachusetts to observe a moment of silence at noon today. I will gladly comply. But I wonder if a moment of yelling in rage wouldn't be more cathartic. Imagine 20 million people all yelling in rage at the same moment. Might send the right message.

WOW, that is actually a really good thought.

If nothing else, it would be a nice stress reliever. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Dave,

You are correct and I apologize to you and to those offended by my statements earlier today in another thread.

Agreed... regardless of what's been said previously, now that nearly a week has passed, we need to get a handle on ourselves and be mindful of what we say.... myself included.
