Uhhh ohhh, I was just getting ready to go check out the site SPEEDO, when I read Warts post. Music running in the background crashes my computer. Sometimes, if I accidently surf into a homepage and the midi starts, and I can hit the back button fast enough, I get away with it. This has plagued me for years, and has to be the creative labs drivers for this AWE 64 card I use...but, my daughter has the same identical system I built for her, and she has no problems what so ever with midi's playing.

This even happens on my puter if I am offline, and create a page and put a midi running in it, execute the page after I have created it...and it brings up my browser...instantly locks me up tight, and I have to reset.

Have you tried going to multimedia in the control panel and changing the preferred midi playback device.

Great pictures, music's OK but I would prefer no music, also the site would load faster.

It's Sunday evening here, 8.30pm and the site took 80 seconds to load to 'done'.

Presumably that's a dead squirrel they set up with a bottle and cig. Perhaps I'm over-sensitive but dead animals are just not my humour.
