Wife and I want to make an Jacuzzi room in the basement. We currently have an unfinished basement but it is plumbed for a bathroom. This is where we want to put the Jacuzzi room. A few questions we have are:

Q) The walls are poured concrete, what should we put for the walls? Tile? Ceder? Vinyl? Redwood?

We have tall ceilings and have room for an outside vent to prevent humidity from building up. Just wondering what material to use to build this room.

I'd go with Tile.... should condensation become an issue, tile would be the easiest to maintain, clean, etc.... (ie: mildew removal easier from tile). Compared to the woods you have listed, it might even be cheaper.

Having installed hot tubs and spas for years wall materials are really to your taste. If the sub floor of your home is wood (joists, beams etc...) better think about putting a ceiling in there. Venting is ok, but 105 degree bubbling water releases a great deal of moisture. Think about a dehumidifier for the room. Desertaire, makes a good one.
