EXAM RESULTS TOMMORROW!!!!
Are the exam gods smiling upon you?
I've never been favoured by the gods, not since the gods of farming frowned upon me (was at my friends house playing at a river when i was little and on the way home we got covered in slurry...ewwww!!)
the gods of penalty smiled upon me when i hit the roof of the net with a penalty...ONCE, i've missed them all since, BAggio'ing the rest http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
I'm rambling because i'm anxious!
noo!
ooooh, i'm dreading my geography results.
feck.
I watched something today called "the office"
"i was thinking...has there been a boy born...who can swim faster than a shark"
heh
Good luck, dont worry dude! If you do well, well done, if you dont do as well as you hoped, at least its over http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Seeing as i think im gonna get a big fat DENIED from the sqa, it can only get better for me http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Hopefuly they will send it to my current adress, not my old one like they did last year.
Im expecting the worst, I dont think i done well enough in any exam i sat to pass, but maybe. Not holding my breath tho. I Done *OK* in the prelims, C,D,D,D, but that does not mean a thing. I wish i could get maths, it would be a bummer if i passed the prelim twice and failed the exam twice. I cant belive i was wanting A's and B's at the start of fifth year, i would be happy just to pass anything right now. At least school is over for me now anyway, i *hated* that phhh1n6 place. I sat Maths, English, Physics and Chemistry, all resits becuase i screwed up last year. I was considering leaving school around christmas time, i saw myself failing again, but my parents persuaded me to stay on. Unsurpisingly I did not suddenly become a studiuous and hardworking person.
I think i may have done something to annoy god of study, something like kill all his daughters and eat his pet fish. Im not even gonna bother thinking about getting more qualifications right now*, even if i knew what i wanted to do, im not mature enough for more study. Who needs money anyway? lol http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
*sings*always look on the bright side of life, la la, la la....

well for biology i got grade 1 for all the parts of it (Knowledge and Understanding, and Problem Solving) so i get an overall grade 1, same with Maths (Knowledge and Understanding, and Reasoning and Application)
For credit level (the level i am sitting at) you either get a 1 (70-100%) a 2 (50-70%) or a 7 (a big fat FAIL, 50-0%). The same applies for GEneral and Foundation, but they are two lower levels and you either get a 3, 4 or 7 for general and a 5,6 or 7 for foundation.
1 being the best and 7 being the worst.
i dont think i've explained it all too well, but you get the idea.

yeah. i'm gonna dread going into school hearing all the smart a$$es saying "I GOT EIGHT 1'S WHAT DID YOU GET" to anyone they can...
i had around 30 exams this time around, next time i'll have only 5 http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif sweet eh?
Well done, those are good grades. I know your teachers will say this but...
Higher is a LOT harder. I flunked standard grade on very little revision, this
just ain't gonna happen at higher, its hard work, even for c's.
My results...
It didn't arrive, ill have pick it up from the post office where i used to live.
Dunno when ill get it, mum's away and dad wont have time, and i cant drive yet,
nevermind.
Thats an answer for the smart a$$e$, "nah, not got it yet, cant be bothered
going to pick it up" http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif I would rip the pi$$ out of them, but im just jealous
they concentrated and worked hard http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif There is two types of pupil, the ones
who use tip-ex to correct their work, and the ones who use it to paint their
calculator.
Last year i got....
Using IT INT1 [its a skive, its a 3 periods a week course, we had 6 periods
and only worked in one of them. We spent the rest surfing the net, and that was
when napster was good http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif]
Maths INT2 - [i failed the higher and got it an int2 on appeal]
Standard grade.....
Maths - 1
Physics - 2
Chemistry - 2
English - 3
Geography - 3
Graph Comm - 3
Art & Design - 3
German - 4
Belive it or not, i was happiest about German, i was expecting a foundation grade.
-Flea
INT1= Foundation standard grade level
INT2= Credit standard grade level
(i think)

yeah. my sister said to me that is honestly a real step up from S-grades.
i dont know how i'm gonna cope, but i'm reading High Fidelity by Nick Hornby (i think) for my specialist study and i'm just finishing my argumentative essay (TWO ESSAYS AND I ONLY A WEEK OR SO BEFORE THE HOLS!)
and also i'm working a lot in Graphic, even tho its Int2.
it looks pretty simple though.
There is two types of pupil, the ones
who use tip-ex to correct their work, and the ones who use it to paint their
calculator.
wow, its amazing how true that is...
what if you use tipp-ex to paint your face, does that count (we painted mexican moustaches on ourselves. twas quite funny)
It's funny how the guys tend to prefer Maths to english. Whereas girls do better at english.
Int1 is General level.
