Help with Com Ports on Win 2k !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just installed Win2k Professional. Now, every time i restart my computer, it gives me error on COM port 2 and 3(yellow symbol). Now while i am still in windows, i unistall COM3 port and COM2 port start working, but then when restart my computer again, it gives me same error that COM2 and COM3 has error. So only way my modem works is i have to uninstall COM port 3 everytime i get into win2k. This is weird.
