Surprise!

In today's mail, I received my $10 rebate from Prime Peripherals/Staples! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I mailed this rebate out on Jan. 4, 2001. The check was cut on Aug. 6, 2001, and I now have it in my grubby little hands!!!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Maybe the rest of you will be getting yours in soon!

Nope, I never called them, e-mailed them, or snail mailed them, just waited quietly!

Ive received 2 40$ rebates (on 200pak CDR Prime media--final cost 10$) from Circuit City in the past 2 months, Staples is usually pretty quick on rebates maybe coming from PP slowed it all down, ive learned to document my rebate activity then I know when I sent it and can question them about it if its been WAAAAAY to long...otherwise I just forget about it...

I sent my rebate form on 1/23 and received the rebate Saturday 8/11.

Man, that's service.

rebate??

hmm this concept sounds interesting, so they just send you money if you fill in a form...

Yeah hey what a concept eh Lemon?
I buy 200/700mb cdr media for 50$, fill out their checkout stand issued form w/my duplicated receipt and they send me 40$ back in 4 weeks! Cant beat it!

(Oh yeah sometimes it dont go so smoothly)

Yeah, Lemonhead,

When buying parts for my daughter's computer, I bought most of the stuff at Staples.com on sale, used the $30 coupon for over $200 purchase, then used the duplicate (some copied) receipts for the on-line rebates. (Staples usually take 4-6 weeks to get the checks to you!)

Regular price total -- $506
After rebates -- $167
Free delivery

17" Envision EN-780 monitor (Flat screen)
Altec Lansing ACS-33 Power Cube Speakers
SB 16 PCI Sound Card (for the Pastor's computer)
Logitec Internet Keyboard
Logitec Optical Mouse
IBM Pro Cam
LinkSys 10/100 Lan Card
Computer Desk

Still need to get:

Chair
DVD
CDRW

But, the total cost so far is under $400 for a 900MHz Duron system! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif
