Some sort of program #32770

I've been having a load of trouble accessing the network on my college campus. I have tried everything I know of: even going so far as to follow the directions http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
When I first tried to hook it all up today Netscape crashed and from then on the best I could get was just seeing other computers on the network, but no internet access.
When I shut down or restart the computer a "program # 32770" brings up one of those windows saying "... the program is not responding... click wait to wait 20 seconds..." etc. This started happening every time right after that fateful Netscape crash earlier in the day.
I'm beginning to tire of this bit of torture so if anyone has heard of this, please let me know. I just don't get it.

Before you start Netscape, Ctrl-Alt-Del into Task mangler and see if there is an entry for "# 32770". If there is, it is coming from someplace else.

The next time you start Netscape, Ctrl-Alt-Del into Task mangler and see if there is an entry for "# 32770". If there is, then Netscape is kicking this program off somehow.

Have you tried reinstalling Netscape?
