Can you tell me how to log out of sysopt.com forums please or does it happen automatically when you close the browser? Thanks.

There's no "formal" login/out. You might want to go to "Preferences" on the screen and set your "cookie" to save preferences.

As someone who accepts SysOpt's cookies, it seems that unless you have "Automatic logon with current username and password" enabled in IE's Security settings, you're not "logged on" until you post a message. Once you post a message, I believe you remain "logged on" until you leave SysOpt.com.

That's nothing official, it's just what I've observed while visiting "Who's Online" and making note of when I'm identified by my username, and when I'm simply known as "guest".

Thanks. I'm in several forums and sometimes they need to give you instructions as to where the logout icon is. LOL. Here I notice I have to login each time to post. The forums certainly vary don't they? Some are more structured and formal, some are crazy. But it's a lot of work for the moderators who get tired and are tied to their computers. I don't even them.

Hehe, female,

I'll give you about three weeks, maybe less.

Then you will be addicted. Sysopt, kinda gets into you.

Welcome to the club, Justy.
